I hope Lance, Dunbar or you will give them a call and fill them in on the rest of it. There is a whole lot more to his prevarications and fabrications than what they printed in that article but it's a start.

...NEWS FLASH: According to a local, independent television station out of Portland, OR (KPTV 12) CONVICT has left the area in pursuit of his next prey (the softball couple). When asked about any new leads, CONVICT responded by saying that he is going someplace that is cold. Well, duh!, moron. That pretty much covers everything north of San Francisco, to Oklahoma City, to Virginia Beach. It's getting to be close to winter & everything will soon be cold. He's in all probability headed towards Montana where the coach has spent some time vacationing. It's probably too late for that lead as CONVICT had already announced that locale weeks ago. Canada & north to Alaska might be an option. Do you think CONVICT has more than one vest to keep himself warm? I doubt that he thought that far ahead because, as he had stated, this case would take much less time than that bungled fiasco & insult re: our neighbors to the south. ...As stated before, I hope he does find them in Canada, & arrests the guy immediately. The Mounties could use his expertise, guidance, & training. Then, once they are finished w/him, they can send him on to Mexico. From the looks of things, CONVICT will be spending quite a bit of time in Mexico. Maybe he should consider getting that Spanish to English, English to Spanish dictionary & start studying right away...

Got a little too hot there I guess. Now that her hearing is postponed you'd think they'd have enough sense to get their as-es home and stay there and stop pressing their luck. I hope your'e right and he's headed up there. I doubt it now that' he milked it for the publicity. He never cared about that girl. I can't understand all the hoopla about a 16 yr. old who ran off with a coach she had a relationship with of her own will when there are actual child abductions that could benefit more from the publicity and the police manpower. It's really a screwed up set of priorities if you ask me.

...It would just seem logical for them to head to Canada. Even though the coach had, in the past, vacationed in Montana w/his family, it would still be too hot for them to go there. The people of Canada recognize & accept the concept of age of concent. She has, of her own free will, made the choice to go w/this man. They have done this knowing that it is illegal & will eventually suffer the consequences of their actions. However, the people of Canada seem to see the 'romance' along w/the complications & would probably be more reluctant to interfere. That doesn't mean, though, that the officials would not do their duty if called upon. That's where CONVICT will again blunder. He will interfere w/their process & will be taken down himself. Heck, he will probably be arrested as an undesirable in Canada & dealt with accordingly. Don't bother looking over your shoulder, CONVICT. They are there...

What's the age of consent in Oregon? "Abduction" or elopement? Major over-reaction if you ask me. How many of our mothers were 16 when they had us and they'd already been married a year or two? Are these parents wealthy or high placed?

...Ironically, the 'age of consent' seems to be 18 in OR. There is yet another case currently pending in a Portland area court. I may not be totally correct on all the facts, but close. This one involves a police officer from NYC that traveled to OR following the 9/11 attack. His purpose was to present an overview of the attack, police response & involvement, etc. While in the area, he met & was attracted to a 17 yr old high school student (almost 18). They met after hours, became romantically & sexually involved. He returned to NYC, but maintianed contact with the girl. Her parents discovered their relationship (& some pictures). He was charged w/ sexual assault, arrested, returned to OR for booking, & released on bail. W/in a few days, the man & woman (she now 18) were married. He is still facing the charges & they are living together in NYC. Her parents are, it seems, forcing the issue & demanding that he be held accountable for his actions. Trial is scheduled for Feb, 04. So, as you see, it would appear that the 'age of consent' in OR would be 18 yrs. For some reason, I had always been of the impression that (w/parental approval) the age of consent was 16. I must have been mistaken. With ALL the precocious young ladies running around, 16 might not be a bad idea. Thank God I don't have any teenage offspring hanging around anymore--ALL GROWN UP & sensibly on their own as responsible members of our communities...

I think it is 16 for marriage with parents consent. It's 13 and 14 for marriage in some southern states believe it or not. If I were her father I'd rather her take up with an older mature stable specimen than some 16 yr. old punk with STD's and drug issues. Why is it Chapman always picks the bogus cases like this? Why doesn't he use some of his celebrity and gift for b.s. for something worthwhile once in a while?

Easy,,,he is going for easy...he has that new reality show getting going,, doesn't he? Can't be out after someone hard to find, or dangerous. Wouldn't look good if he failed, or got his butt whooped.

...Hey! I'm real curious why CONVICT didn't get credit for nabbing the Green River Killer. I'm astounded that he didn't claim that one like he did the Atlanta killer & the Denver murder. Maybe he was too busy catching up with the Hillside Strangler or the Night Stalker or even the Boston Strangler or Son Of Sam or etc., etc., etc. ...Failed or get his butt whooped: Both are in his immediate future from Mexico. Remember the Alamo? Well, he will before this thing is all over. Like I said before, I think it would be great if it turned out to have his first arrest on his reality show (with him involved, there will NOT NOT NOT be much reality) were to be CONVICT himself being grabbed up by the Mexican & American authorities. The entire format for the reality show would need to be changed to follow his renewed life behind bars. Once a CONVICT -- always a CONVICT unless one really tries to change. CONVICT has changed---he has gotten worse at being a law breaker. He really should consider a change in his vocation because he sucks at being a fugitive recovery agent, a CONVICT, a TV personality (doesn't one need a personality first???), etc. ...It is 16 w/parental consent. In this case, the parents were (& have been) abscent. She had been living w/her coach & his family for quite some time before this incident. It is just going to get more & more confusing before it is all done; and they sure as hell don't need CONVICT in the middle of things mucking it all up (which is one thing he seems to be good at). CONVICT has already called the coach a child molester, something he has not been accused of or charged with by the authorities. Careful, careful, careful...

...THE SAGA CONTINUES...CONVICT returns to pearch on his rock & wait for someone to call him with the answers. He's NOT hunting. He is simply sitting on his brain cell waiting for the work to get done for him. If he did even 'go someplace cold', it was to Colorado to grab up BIG UNDERWEAR & get them both back to their rock... ...The reward in this case is now more than $50,000; but, that's right, CONVICT is doing this for the experience so he can learn how to be a Private 'I'. He's not in it for the money. Just like in the Luster case---lies, lies, lies... ...Several attempts by a local Portland TV station (KPTV 12) to contact CONVICT went unanswered on Saturday, 11/08/03. Can you believe it? No one was available. What if THE call came in? They ALL must have been out practicing to be PI, bunny hunting, people chasing, CONVICTS. That must have been quite a custer fluk. At least the world was safe for yet another minute!!! Maybe they could keep practicing, but some of them better add Spanish, Head Cellmate in Charge, & PLO to their areas of training. They'll NEED it...

He milked it for the publicity like the parasite he is and then skipped town when the locals got wise to his act. Those two just seem to follow the blood like pirhana. They exploit the misery of other people for fun and profit.

Hello, I am new to this group. I am doing a sociology paper on Bounty Hunters and tried to email 'The Dog' I heard he was the (self-proclaimed) worlds greatest bounty hunter. Since I have always had a facination with the subject I did some research on his name. One of the things I found was, he had done time in a Texas prison for a drug related homicide. WHAT! I couldn't beleive it. My image was shattered. I wrote to the 'Dog' and this is what his response was.

You can add to that all the lies and fabrications in the Andrew Luster case such as the ridiculous claim that Luster was travelling with 5 bodygruards, had rape kits with handcuffs, etc. That's all proven to be false. Chapman came to this board shortly after it went up and tried to intimidate us and all and he did the same on his board. He even went so far as to go on national Television and call us all "organized criminals" because we dared to challenge his version.
