Okay, Admin and other key people here, here is my write-up on Dawg and Litter. It's been a long time in the making because new information keeps popping up lke Dalana and Tawny. In this writeup, I didn't even get around to mentioning Dawg's past criminal convictions or Beth's charges. I've read but please clue me in on these and I can add to this draft. Please criticize this draft as you see fit because I'm new to the anti-dog, pro-supporter of Luster campaign.
I think I will have to break this down into two posts because of the length (seven pages in Word). Here is part one:
To Whom It May Concern:
I never knew the Chapman’s or their reality TV show existed until mid-September, 2006. Rarely do I watch TV and don’t normally follow the lives of the rich and famous - there are much more important matters in life. I have been involved actively in the pro-border enforcement/anti-illegal alien invasion issues and learned in a forum about Dog’s, his sons’ and partners’ recent arrests at the request of Mexico.
To support the Chapman family I sent letters to the White House, Dept. of Justice and several of my State’s Congress members asking that Dog and crew not be extradited to Mexico. I also sent a short email message to Beth expressing my sympathy about what has happened to her family and for her to know I would do all I could to join others who are calling and writing government. I also signed a petition in favor of Dog and his crew. I was planning on doing much more to spread the word such as making phone calls to a few of my State’s Congress that would not allow my emails because I was not in their district, posting on other forums and sending the information to family and friends.
Well, I’ve changed my mind because of two reasons . . .
First, I discovered www.andrewluster.net and stg.proboards19.com along with a forum on it with massive documentation. After viewing many news articles and commentary, I believe Andrew Luster is innocent of the three rape charges against him that led to some 80+ convictions. I also believe he didn’t get a fair trial and deserves an appeal. At first I believed it admirable for Dog and litter to apprehend Andrew Luster; now I believe Luster innocent and Dog went after him for greed and to boost his own agenda. The capture did launch the “Dog the Bounty Hunter” reality TV show.
Second, and before becoming an active volunteer in the current issues mentioned in the first paragraph, I was starting to become actively involved with those who want to reform no-fault divorce laws, strengthen marriages, help betrayed and abandoned spouses, and spread the word about the harmful effects divorce has on children. Check out some links and blogs at:

ncsingleparent.com/blog. NOTE: The best and most numerous posts on these subjects are in the 2005 blog.
After reading about Dog the Bounty Hunter show in a forum, I decided I was going to actually turn on the TV and watch. Before watching and to see what all the hoopla was about, I pulled up online bio information on the Dog and Beth. When I started reading about Dog’s background it was very interesting. Dog is on his fifth marriage. The first four marriages followed closely by year, and all ended in divorce. Dog has been married almost as many times as Elizabeth Taylor and more than almost everyone else.
I also noted that Dog has fathered 12 children. Beth, married twice and divorced once, is the mother of four, the first one – a son named Dominic - she lost custody of and has no contact with today or so I’ve read. 16 children between them! With high birth rates amongst illegal aliens, the Chapman’s would make any illegal alien proud. They often have more children than Americans, but I’ve never heard of an illegal alien having 12 children.
The following article from the Star Bulletin states that Beth “is volunteering the story of how she landed her “ultimate bounty”: “Big Daddy,” the man of her dreams.” She explains that at age 19 she first met Dog when he bailed her out of jail in Colorado. To quote a portion of the article:
Enter the bondsman: “And when Dog came to get me, I see this sleek biker with long blond hair, black leather and Levis. With a big, black Great Dane beside him, I thought he was the sexiest man I ever saw.”
“So, then and there, I decided I was going to stalk him. When I began pursuing him, it wasn’t easy to see him because of his bounty hunting. So I figured I should get into the bails bond business myself. I would write some bad bonds just to get him into my office.”
“It took 16 years but he’s my ultimate bounty,” Smith says with a triumphant smile. Chapman proposed last year in Las Vegas.
starbulletin.com/print/2005.php?fr=/2006/03/21/features/story02.html
And, this quote from the National Review Online:
Beth and Dog met when they were both still living in Denver, where Chapman was raised. “I had an idiot for a boyfriend and happened to go to jail one night, and this is my savior,” she said, pointing to her husband, who at that point blushed beet red.”
“He bailed me out,” she continued. “I took one look at him and said, ‘Oh, yes, he will be mine. Let the stalking begin.’ The easiest way to really get his attention was to become a bail bondsman”—just 21 at the time, Beth was the youngest licensed bondsman in Colorado – “and then I proceeded to write the worst bail in town so that the bounty hunter would have to come hang out in my office. And in the end, I caught the bounty hunter.”

Here are links to three more articles mentioning Beth was chasing Dog and in the first one she is quoted as saying, “He was a hard catch, that’s why I say he’s my biggest and best catch…”

From the descriptions and quotes it appears Beth missed her true calling: That of a Harlequin romance writer (Beth shouldn’t quit here day jobs here).
Since Beth was 19 and based on her birth date of Oct. 29,1967, that would mean the first time she met Dog was in 1986 or 1987. Beth certainly went out of her way to pursue Dog. Numerous articles this year before and around Beth’s and Dog’s wedding last May state that they have been partners for 16 years. I guess that places their relationship as starting around 1990. So many articles tell of how much in love with each other they still are. It all sounds so good to be true but here’s the catch: When Beth met and pursued Dog; he was married and the father of small children.
Dog’s third wife and children when Beth met and pursued him:
“Wife: Lyssa Chapman (m. 1981, div. 1990)
Daughter: Barbara Katie Chapman (b. 8-Jun-1982, d. 19-May-2006, auto accident)
Son: Tucker Dee Chapman (b. 8-Sep-1983)
Daughter: Lyssa Rae Chapman II (b. 10-Jun-1987)”
www.nndb.com/people/384/000085129/
At least two other links place the marriage/divorce between Dog and Lyssa as 06/22/82 and 11/20/91. Because she pursued a married father, perhaps Beth missed a second calling but I won’t mention it here in polite company. The point whether Dog and Lyssa were married/divorced in 1981/1990 or 1982/1991 is mute. The facts are that Dog was married, a father and Beth aggressively pursued him.
The plot thickens! Dog wasn’t the only married parent. Check out quotes from these two links:
“Beth was married previously. Keith A. Barmore: Married in Denver on 8/26/1991. He was addicted to heroin. They had one child, Cecily. The marriage ended in divorce.”http://marriage.about.com/od/entertainmen1/p/chapmansmith.htm, and . . .“Chapman married his fifth wife Beth Smith (aka Alice Barmore,[10][11][12][13] aka Alice Elizabeth Smith),[7] his girlfriend of sixteen years [8] (even though she married Keith A. Barmore in Denver on 8/26/1991)[3] on May 20, 2006 at the Hilton Waikoloa Village in Hawaii. They have two children together.” en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duane_Chapman
The above link suggests that Beth and the Dog were together as partners while Beth was pregnant with Cecily and married to her father, Keith Barmore. Cecily was born c. 1992 or 1993 and mentioned in the above links and other sources. And, was Beth in love with the Dog when she married Barmore in 1991? If so, then why did Beth marry Barmore?
Dog was born in 1953 and Beth in 1967 – 14 year age difference. Would this be one of those “trading in the ageing wife for a younger model” syndromes?
As far as the younger woman syndrome, I believe I have uncovered Lyssa R. Chapman’s date of birth as 07/15/54. In this late breaking news, please go to the following link at the Alaska Trial Court cases. Type in the last name Chapman and the first name Duane. Displayed is a domestic violence charge filed in June 1999 (and later dismissed): Lyssa Rae Bargas vs. Duane Lee Chapman.
orca.courts.state.ak.us/names
Now, Dog’s birth date is listed as 02/01/53 other places and in the Alaska Court System as 02/02/53. Coincidence? I doubt it and Lyssa “Bargas” must have been remarried at that time. Here is a link that provides court records of Dog’s recent arrest in Hawaii that lists his DOB as 02/02/53, along with a list and the ages of the 12 children he has fathered:
www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/0915061dog1.html?link=eaf
The plot thickens further! While Beth pursued Dog, he not only was married to and divorced from Lyssa, but he also married his fourth wife, Tawny. The one online source I can find is a forum where someone named Tawny Chapman claims to have married Dog on Dec. 16, 1991 and divorced in Jan. 2003. This marriage is substantiated – and I say this loosely because the source is the National Enquirer – by a Sept. 21, 2006 article by John Blosser: “Shocking Claims: Bounty Hunter’s ex-lover reveals what a real “Dog he is.” (No link). A woman named Dalana Duncan says at age 16, Dog obtained legal custody of her in Colorado by falsely claiming he was her natural father. Duncan claims she met Dog in 1987 when she was 16 and he 34. She had violated probation and Dog tracked her down. Duncan further claims in the article that Dog tried to seduce her while she was a minor. Then, several years later when Duncan was 24, the married Dog seduced her with cocaine. They had sex for the first time. Duncan also claims that in Oct. 2005, just months before Dog married Beth, Dog visited her and they used drugs and had sex.
Again, it is mentioned in several 2006 news sources that Dog and Beth have been partners for 16 years (making 1990 the approximate year of their partnering). In a forum, fans say Beth claims 16 years while Dog claims more like 10. Either way, Dog was married to two women, and Beth to one man, while Beth aggressively pursued him.
Dog must be “one lucky dog” to have so many woman at his disposal. From his past, I bet Dog changes his woman as much as he changes his underwear. Since he is famous, woman must be throwing themselves at him constantly. I hate to tell Beth this but – if he will cheat with you, he will cheat on you. However, I wonder how much chance Dog has to cheat or does he even dare. From my brief viewings of the show and massive reading online, it appears that Beth put a ring through Dog’s nose long before he put a ring on her finger.
