And...acoording to the paper (I will post in spanish and english) there will be an arrest warrant issued for the arrest of him and his sons if they do not appear in court today as ordered. He has until 4:00 PM to show up. I wonder what the chances are that he will show?

He must be there in PERSON...not his lawyer. I am just quoting what the local Mexican paper said. We will see later what the verdict is...Dog is gonna have a "bounty" on his head...What an oxymoron...a bounty hunter with a bounty on his own head!

He won't show up! Perhaps the so called "Bounty Hunters" that post on this board should "bring him to justice", their holier than thou attitudes make me sick. It's hypocrisy at its finest for these fools to claim that the "Dog" was within his rights to go to Mexico to get Mr. Luster and to not want to return "Dog" to good ol' Mexico! I hope he gets what he deserves in Mexico, but we all know that he doesn't have the nerve to go back and turn himself in.
p.s. Stupid, post some pictures of yourself on here. I want to see if you're worthing of a romp.

I don't recall anyone saying he was withing his rights. I do however recall that I think sometimes the job just needs to be done. I am monitoring the LA newspapers and TV stations from where I live and haven't found anyting yet. I can't wait until it all comes out and he will still be free in the US with some extra cash in his pocket.
ps Luster, I am way out of your league dude.

Message boards are cool, but some of the dudes are not what they claim.[/glow] [glow=teal,2,300]Personally, I hope dog doesnt show up for court...I hope he does what that Lester the molester did. But your right Stupid, he has attorneys (whom come WITH you, not just alone) so I guess if he does show up, he at least has some sort of protection.[/glow]

By Lorena Moguel ASSOCIATED PRESS 1:58 p.m., July 7, 2003
PUERTO VALLARTA, Mexico – Three bounty hunters arrested in Mexico for capturing fugitive rapist Andrew Luster failed to show up in court Monday, a judge said.
Judge Jose de Jesus Pineda said he would give the three until Tuesday to explain their absence, then begin proceedings to forfeit their bail.
Duane "Dog" Chapman, his son Leland, and his brother Timothy flew to California last week shortly after they were released from jail in Puerto Vallarta. During a news conference Wednesday in California, Chapman said he planned to return to Mexico "soon."
It was unclear where Chapman was Monday.
His business partner and companion, Beth Smith, argued that Chapman was only required to have his lawyers meet with migration officials on Monday, which she said they did.
Migration officials were not immediately available to comment.
Pineda told The Associated Press the three could do whatever they wanted with their free time – as long as they checked in with him personally every Monday morning.
Pineda last month ordered the three tried on charges of criminal association and deprivation of liberty for a pre-dawn seizure of Luster, the Max Factor heir convicted in absentia in California of drugging and raping three women.
Prosecutors argue the bounty hunters should have gone to police instead of snagging Luster themselves.
Pineda released the bounty hunters on $1,430 bail each. Mexican immigration officials added a bail of less than $300 each.
If they do not return to Mexico, Pineda could seek a second warrant for their arrest, and it is possible Mexico will request their extradition from the United States.
Authorities briefly detained and charged a television producer and actor who went along with the bounty hunters to videotape Luster's capture, but Pineda threw out the charges against them.
Luster was deported to California the day after his arrest, and began serving a 124-year sentence.
