"commentary" says it all...and that's all this is. Dog WILL be getting some of the bail money.
You'll all see that our law, our judges here, frown on the Mexican justice system, and smile upon those who bring the trully wanted to justice.

Man, you're telling me. That would be so disappointing. I bet Beth is freaking out. And the kids. What a terrible thing to have hanging over your head. I can only hope that since he is only charged with a misdemeanor that it won't carry a lot of weight. Keep your fingers crossed and keep praying.

Has anyone documented the cases against Dog? Are the cases really misdemeanors? Dog says misdemeanor but eight years potential versus fine does not equate to misdemeanor to me. I think all cases in Mexico are criminal period and no distinction for felony or misdemeanor like in US. Anyone a lawyer from Mexico that knows for sure if Dog is a fleeing felon or just a fleeing bail jumper?

I know he will be charged. It makes you feel good that he went down there. When the price on his head goes up he will get to go back to Mexico. The North American Free Trade Agreement makes the state department bring charges. Everyone in the bonding industry knows this.

In hot water??? Depends on what the Mexican authorities choose to do and how the American authorities will respond. Based on historical perspective, it does NOT look too good. In the money??? Depends on whether or not the CA Legal system and Judge choose to violate their own laws. A convicted felon shall NOT be allowed to function in a Bail Enforcement, Fugitive Recovery, Bounty Hunter capacity in and/or for the State of CA. If they pay him, they condone and support his actions and break their laws. Hey, Duane: None of my business, but have you thought about collecting your dues via the book, TV, movie routes? Looks to be more of a sure thing!!! When you receive your windfall, please hire a very good atty and petition the Courts in TX (and anywhere else necessary) to have your records expunged and your rights restored. Right now might be the best time to do this, but check with an atty for advice (old wounds may have been opened). Then never mention that part of your past again (after the movie, etc., of course). Free advice is worth every penny spent. I don't necessarily dislike you--I don't even know you. I just do NOT approve of your methods, mannerisms, and tactics in this business. Heck, I don't even have an ax to grind. This FREE advice I offer is simply showing that there is honor within our profession. Take it for what it is worth...

FBIagent and stagetech...idiots! I am amazed at how stupid you really are. There is an article (or didnt you read it...dumbass) that clearly states Duane Chapman is clearly facing charges in Mexico and is currently a fugitive on the run! He will be dealt with...its a shame you never considered people like us who have already sent endless emails to various Gvmnt. divisions demanding they do something about the way he operates... and it looks like people are listening. Dog is definately in Hot Water...so are his kids!
And by the way....anything detainable is a CRIMINAL offens in Mexico...otherwise he would have paid a fine the first day and been home the same day as Drew. The "fine in lieu of jailtime" isnt able to be paid until AFTER he apears and is sentenced...which he didnt do...he was scared and ran! Another thing...The "fine in lieu of..." is estimated to be hundreds of thousands for the three of them...and they will be locked up until paid in full. Thats basically why they left, they knew they could never come up with the money for all three of them, and that they would be "in" until it was paid...which would have taked quite a while, given the way "Mexican time" works. Face it, Your hero dog is a coward!!
