This was one the other board the other day. Thought DOG might want to know:
I am a Pennsylvania State Constable residing in Central PA. My job is very much likened to that of a bounty hunter. I have heard us being described as a certified bounty hunter for the court system of the state of Pennsylvania. We serve mostly warrants through the court system on individuals who have gotten in trouble with the law and chose to ignore the citations, and or court hearings, orders, etc. We also serve bench warrants for wanted fugitives etc. We are I guess the state's bounty hunters per say. When you made the apprehension of Luster and your name became a national sensation here, I took the liberty to check you out. One word came to mind "WOW"!! Very impressive! You deserve the title "The world's greatest bounty hunter". Your reputation speaks volumes for itself. I wish that there were a way for you to speak at some of our continuing education seminars that are mandatory for all of certified constables each year. It would be of great benefit for us to learn some of your arrest/search/apprehension techniques. Our training is governed by Pennsylvania Commission on Crimes and Delinquencies (PCCD) in Harrisburg, PA. They subcontract the training programs through a few of the state universities. I must say that it seems as though I personally along with several of my colleagues have a LONG WAY TO GO in this profession when looking over your career and record. I at the very least, would someday like to be present at one of your speaking engagements or training seminars. In closing, I also would like to extend my gratitude and support to you for you dilegence and hard work that results in the apprehension and dispensing of justice towards some of the United States most fowl and vile fugitives. You are one of America's behind the scenes heroes. Keep up the good work!! I wish you the best of luck and I wish you success in overcoming your troubles with the Mexican authorities. If it were one of their fugitives, it no doubt would be a different story. With respect and admiration I send this.PA State ConstableDennis E. Packer
