Hello,

I am new to this group. I am doing a sociology paper on Bounty Hunters and tried to email 'The Dog' I heard he was the (self-proclaimed) worlds greatest bounty hunter.

Since I have always had a facination with the subject I did some research on his name. One of the things I found was, he had done time in a Texas prison for a drug related homicide. WHAT! I couldn't beleive it. My image was shattered.

I wrote to the 'Dog' and this is what his response was.

Nnot quite the response I thought I would receive.
So I replied with the following:

I forgot to mention. I am a student at a local high school and was trying to do my sociology report on Bounty Hunters. I read an article which indicated you were the worlds greatest bounty hunter (must have been self proclaimed) thats why I contacted you.

Owe me an explanation? yes you do, you owe me and the people you represent and/or serve an explanation as well as the field you profess to be greatest at.

If you are serving the publics interest then you owe them ALL an explanation as to how or why the 'worlds greatest bounty hunter' did time in prison for a drug related homicide.

Now I guess I'll wait and see what the 'DOG' has to say next.

You were very rude in the way you wrote that email to Dog.

If you wanted the information on the "incident" there were other ways to go about getting it, and besides, I for one along with Dog, do not feel that it is any of your business as long as you are not his employer.

Since Fugitive Recovery Agents and Bounty Hunters do not get paid by Federal, State or local taxes in any way, you are in no way his employer nor does he answer to you.

If you wanted the information, it is a matter of public record, you could have just taken the time to looked it up, but you would rather harass someone for no reason.

I agree with R Anderson,if you were that rude to me I would have been alot meaner than Dog Chapman was.Obviously honey you have a lot of growing up to do and your parents did not teach you how to have any manners when talking to people that are older than you.You only get respect when you give it and Obviously you were quite disrespectful to Mr. Chapman so you got dished out what you deserved.
